Letter from CAACPA Board

To Whom It May Concern

I am writing to you on behalf of the Chinese American Association of Colorado Professional Association (CAACPA, www.caacpa.org), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cultural, educational, and professional communications between Chinese, Asian, and other ethnic communities in the Front Range of Colorado.

Our mission is to bridge cultural gaps and enhance mutual understanding, which we believe is crucial for the vibrant and diverse community of Fort Collins and the surrounding areas. As a platform of CAACPA, Huaxing Chinese School (Huaxing) has been operating since 1993.  It offers language and cultural classes to kids and adults from the communities in Fort Collins area. All officers of Huaxing are volunteers.  Last year, we organized a Lunar New Year celebration that was met with enthusiastic participation, attracting around 500 attendees from the Fort Collins area. The event was a resounding success, filled with rich cultural experiences and community engagement.  The event received a proclamation from Mayor Jeni Arndt.

This year, we are excited to announce that we are planning to host another Lunar New Year celebration. We aim to make it even more engaging and inclusive, with an expected attendance similar to last year’s. However, to make this event a success, we rely on the generous support of our local institutions and community leaders like yourself.

Your contribution can make a significant impact. It will not only support the logistical aspects of the event but also help us in our continuous effort to promote cultural understanding and community harmony. Any donation, whether monetary or in-kind, will be immensely appreciated and will be acknowledged in our event promotions and materials.  We would be honored to have you as a part of this cultural celebration. Your support would be a testament to our shared values of diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
