2023年11月12日下午3:40在华星中文学校（4424 Innovation Dr)举办“预防网络金融诈骗以及针对青少年的网络犯罪“的讲座。应CAACPA协会和中文学校邀请，市警局Cyber Crime 部门负责人Sergeant Mike Knudsen警官举办这次讲座。内容包括网络和其他远程金融欺诈犯罪的现状、趋势、预防和应急措施。也含括了针对青少年的网络欺凌、色情等犯罪预警。历时1个多小时。近20个社区成员参加。内容详实切合现实。大家提问和讨论积极。Kenudsen警官耐心应答。

新春佳节将至，这是疫情三年之后恢复“常态“的第一个新年！CAACPA协会和华星中文学校将于2/5下午在中文学校（Hua Xing Chinese School, 4424 Innovation Dr, Fort Collins, CO 80525) 举办一场热闹喜庆、规模盛大的春节-元宵节庆祝晚会！华星的孩子们照例唱主角，将表演精彩节目。同时还有社区内外的才艺表演。预计社区内外400多人参加。这将是目前为止规模最大的春节庆祝活动。咱们社区的义工团队正在紧锣密鼓积极准备！这是咱们社区的活动。晚会还需要更多志愿者。各义工组负责人希望各位乡亲能积极响应和参与进来，把这次三年一遇的晚会办得红红火火，热热闹闹，开开心心！ 这次活动也得到热心的个人和商家支持。目前已确定为春晚捐款、捐食品、奖品、和优惠coupon的单位有：Chili Thai, East Moon，Asian Grill，Kobe Shushi，Empire Palace, Chopstickers, KWD(Kitchen Warehouse Direct), Beijing Noodles, Canyon Motel, Min Meisel Coldwell Banker Realty, Hi 旅程 HiTravel LLC 。 非常感谢这些单位的支持！
